Trio of flowers

Hi Everyone,
I've been busy again,
Here is a card I made using the Trio of flowers stamp and die from Honey Doo Stamps.
I made the base card using Large Square Dies and made a mat in contrasting colour. I used a basket weave  embossing folder by We R Memory Keepers (from Oyster Papercrfts) for the base.
I stamped and embossed the Foliage Flourish and placed in each corner. Using the same colour paper as the mat I stamped and heat embossed the Trio of flowers, shaped them and arranged ion top of the folliage flourish. I added a sentiment and edged with the Sue Wilson Tags and labels Grace die. I added a bow which was made on my Zutter Bow Maker. I do hope you like it.

Take Care, See you next week!

Spring Flowers

Hi Everyone and welcome to all those bloggers who are new to this site.

Isn't it foggy this morning, the sun is just beginning to shine through the haze, once the fog has gone its going to be a beautiful day.
Did you know that Honey Doo Crafts have brought out a collection of Dies to go with their stamps? They will be shown on Create and craft Tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11am, I do hope you can join us.

With Valentines day just around the corner I have chosen a heart themed card to show you today. It uses the dies and stamps from Honey Doo's.
First of all I stamped and cut the background using a poppy die (from oyster papercrafts) side lattice cutout. Underneath I have used Guilding Flakes which gives an interesting effect.
I have cut out the Leafy flourish and trimmed it down to make a heart shape. This I did twice and off set to give the impression of depth to the shape. I then stamped and cut flowers and folliage from spring Flowers, Painted with blue lagoon mica and arranged around the base of the heart. A sentiment was added using the Balloon Banner stamp and hey presto The finished card.

Please remember to join us on create and craft tomorrow for more ideas from the Design Team, Happy crafting.

Veined Flower

Hello everyone,
Something a little different today, A zig zag card.  Its made from an A4 sheet of card which folded into three, then I trimmed the two side sections diagonaly to give the shape.  I made a sheet of background paper using the Leafy Corner and memento Ink pistachio (one of my favourite colours). I cut out to fit the card and matted and layered on to the base.
I stamped the spring flower stamps, and heat embossed with silver sparkle. I painted over with mica powder, the embossed veins resisted the paint then die cut.  I shaped and made the three flowers and attached to the card, smallest at the top. I then added follliage from the same stamp.
I love the white edges which are left when using the new Dies from Honey Doo Stamps, and its much easier than cutting out each flower individually. I hope you like the card.

Take Care, Happy Crafting

Flowers from the heart

Hi Every One,
Well more organised this week.
Here is a card I made with a piece of acetate which I had used the Caught in crystal technique. For those who do not know this technique you drop alcohol inks on to acetate, You can add glitter, flakes frantage to the mix if you wish. Cover the whole piece with clear glaze then cover with crumpled tissue paper and leave to dry overnight.
I framed this with gold and cream card and added a trellis using Poppy Dies Diamond Lattice. I stamped and embossed the flowers and leaves using flowers from the heart stamp set from HoneyDoo then placed them in to the corners. I added a small tag for a sentiment. I hope you like this.

Take care Till next time
