Roses are red

Roses are Red or in this instance  Roses are Pink! Here is a card I made using the new stamp Range from HoneyDoo. I stamped and coloured several images of the Rose and then decoupaged it onto an
oval.
You can probably see the layers from this angled shot.
I then used my old grand fancy ovals, to frame the oval. I then used the rose to make a background with Spun Sugar. I then assembled the card.
I hope you like it as much as I do.
Take care.

Magic Slider Card

Hi All,
Well summer came and went! I hope we have more summer weather soon. I have been busy making a card with a difference. You probably remember I helped out at a craft retreat a few weeks ago, well, one of the delegates suggested that we combine the demo given by Barbara, a magic card with one we made on the workshop a slider card. Well I love a challenge!
Last week I had a light bulb moment and this is the result

I used the Honey Doo stamp Mini Sentiment and Little lilies and leaves. The border is Precious Marieke, flowery collection, Fleur-de-lis border. All available from Oyster Papercrafts.

Well thats all for now folks!!!!!
Take care

Floral Crest

Hi Bloggers,
Today I have chosen to share this card with you. I saw a picture of aa shaped card and decided to challenge myself. Well as you can see
, I used one of my favorite stamps from Honey Doo the floral crest. I stamped and embossed the image, then coloured in with mica. I am pleased with the result considering not a die in sight. I hope you like it.

A B C Board

Hi Bloggers, after such a poor bank holiday the weather looks as if its about to improve.
I have been playing with the We R Memory Keepers Alphabet Board.
I have made several banners with patterned papers but I also made these cards.
I used the Spellbinders Detailed Scallop, which is one of my favourite go to dies. To embellish I used Cheery Lynn Sweet Williams Strip, and Flourish 13. As you can see I started with plain white paper. I coloured the letter with distress ink and used Honey Doo Mini Flourishes to stamp the  pattern. I hope you like the result.

For the second card I took the plain white paper then embossed it with a folder, I matted and layered and embellished with Small Gardinia, Tropical Flourish.

All supplies are available from Oyster Stamps.
Have a great week, Take Care
Janet.
