Hi Bloggers,
I hope you all had a fantastic Easter although the weather did let us down a little.
Thanks for visiting my blog I do appreciate it.
Well its Tuesday again and I have been very busy this week creating cards with a forthcoming release from honey doo crafts. I will share my creations with you at a later date.
Today I decided to share a couple of old cards with you made with stampscapes stamps. I made these at a workshop and loved them. They look so difficult yet with a little patience and a few distress inks are simple.
Take care
Janet

Hi Bloggers,
Thanks for visiting my blog, I really appreciate your support.
Sorry I missed last week, lost my Mojo but soon found it when I received some new stamps...but more about those in future blogs.
Spring is in the air.  I do hope you all have a chance to enjoy the wonderful weather we are having at the moment.
Today I would like to show you three cards I made at a workshop I attended last week at Whichcraft in Doncaster. It is a change for me to play with patterned papers with no die cuts in site. We did do some stamping though.

The cards are all simple tag cards, The flower was made by misting and scrunching, The butterflies and rose were were stamped and the Oval was made using a stencil.
I was pleased with the results and hope you like them too.
Well its time to get back to playing, Take Care all.
Bye

Beautiful Day

8 March 2016

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for dropping by to share my antics!!!!
A little late with my blog post today, I've been busy preparing some projects for a retreat sometime in the future, That will be exciting!
Can't show you yet but when the cat is out of the bag I will spill the beans!
Well here is my card for today. I am still playing with the Altenew stamps. This is Beautiful day. (available from Oyster Papercrafts).

I started out by stamping the flower then I decoupaged it. Wow I love this flower!

I did not shape the flower as I thought this would detract from the stamping, the image you see is what you get from the stamp. Obviously I then completed another two, three flowers is a good number. I need foliage so used the same stamp for the leaves.
Now I had to decide what to do with these embelisments so I decided to use spellbinders flourish frame matted on to mirri card. I used and older die, fanciful lattice for the sentiment and HoneyDoo Birthday sentiments finished the card with an appropriate sentiment. All items are available from Oyster Papercrafts.
I hope you like it.

Take Care
Ta Ta for now

Vintage Flowers

Hi Fellow Bloggers,

I hope you are all well, the snowdrops are nearly over in my garden and the daffodils are now taking over. I love Daffs!!!

I have been playing with my newest Altenew stamps this week, and what a joy its been. Something completely different.
Here are a couple of the cards which I have made for Oyster Paper Crafts.

The Altenew stamps I used are Vintage flowers and Beautiful day. The stamps are designed to allow you to overstamp in several different inks to build up shaded areas giving you that vintage feel. With one of the cards I took it a step further by masking to produce a group of three roses complete with some foliage.
Once completed I used spellbinder dies to cut out the oval shape and to make the stepper card. I  used some Honey Doo stamps for sentiments and background paper.

I love playing with these stamps and can think of lots of other applications for future projects, I hope you like them too.
Take care
Janet
