Mini Flourishes

Hi there fellow bloggers,
I've had a busy week which ended saturday when I held a workshop at Oyster stamps. The idea was to make our own background paper and use a sketch to make 4 cards. Then we were going to continue to make a fifth card in the afternoon. Well that was a little ambitious,  We completed four cards each and were they fantastic and each one different.
We used Honeydoos mini flourishes stamps and distress inks to stamp on white paper. We then had a small plan on the back to make shapes. These were matted and layered on to A5 cards along with hexagonal sentiments also from honeydoo stamps.
Look at the results stunning!

Well done ladies for all your hard work.
Take care
Janet

Floral Cascade

9 June 2015

Hello fellow bloggers,  hope you are enjoying good weather,  down here its getting quite blustery and the temperature is dropping.
Well here is a card I made a little while ago using spellbinders detailed scallops die from oyster stamps (www.oysterstamps.co.uk) to frame a piece of  parchment craft.
I stamped floral cascade (from honeyDoo Crafts (  www.honeydoocrafts.co.uk ) with white ink. Embossed the flowers from the reverse side and coloured using promarkers on the reverse side. I then mounted and framed the parchment piece.  I was rather pleased with the result.

Take care my friends .

Honey Doo Stamps

Hi there fellow bloggers,
Here is another card I made for Honey Doo Crafts for the show last week.

For this card I used the bowl of the glass from A Bottle of vine set to make a vase.  Then I used the border included in the sentiment set from Friendship Quotes, I cut each flower out individually and arranged them in the vase with some leaves from a bottle of vine stamp. I then framed this in white card stock and placed small gems around for a little bling. I stamped the same border to make the ribbon. I shadow stamped the sentiment, which was then matted and layered to complete the card.
All the stamps are Honey Doo Stamps available from www.honeydoocrafts.co.uk
I do hope you like it.

A Bottle of Vine

Hi fellow Bloggers. I hope you are well. Were you able to watch Amanda from Honey Doo Crafts last friday on Create and craft? I did and thought Amanda looked very much the professional didn"t she? Well Done Amanda!
The next few blogs will show some of the cards I made for the programme, here are the first two.

The first one I used the Bottle of Vine Stamp. I stamped the glasses coloured them, cut them out and coated with glossy accents. I cut out the small leaves and grapes then arranged them on the card front with pin flare glue to give a 3d effect. I matted and layered the verse from just the one sentiment set and placed it on the card. I placed the glasses on the card front and hey presto the finished card.

The second used the left over cut out leaves from the bottle of vine stamps with the small border flowers cut out of the friendship quotes border. These were placed as if growing up the lattice formed by Sue Wilson Labrynth diagonal Die. This was placed on a base of white card embossed using Sue Wilson pin point embossing folder  floral brocade, which was matted and layered on to silver Mirri to match the lattice. The sentiment from HoneyDoo friendship Quotes was matted and layered. and placed on the card.

Well I hope you like the cards
